Effective April 1, 2025, Joe Mazur will be transitioning to a new role exploring the sales opportunity of cabinet refacing as a new endeavor for Southern Industries. This change reflects our commitment to supporting Joe's professional development and aligning his skills with the growth initiatives of Southern Industries. We anticipate sharing more about this business venture in the future.
We are excited to announce that Mike Tutsie has agreed to relocate to Atlanta, where he will provide leadership to the Taylor Construction and Taylor Bath teams. Mike joined Southern Industries Home Improvement in June 2023 with over two decades of industry experience. During his time in Knoxville, he transformed the office culture into what we all fondly refer to as "KnoxVegas." Under his leadership, the Knoxville office saw a remarkable 38% year-over-year increase in job completions, and Mike's commitment to succession planning within his team has undoubtedly earned him this well-deserved promotion. This move represents a significant milestone in Mike’s career, and we are confident he will continue to make a positive impact in Atlanta.
As Mike transitions to Atlanta, we are pleased to announce that Nick Hatfield has accepted the GSM-in-Training position for the Knoxville office, effective April 1, 2025. Nick’s outstanding performance as a Sales Representative in 2024 earned him recognition as a President's Club member, a spot in the Million Dollar Club, and a top-tier sales ranking, which also earned him an invitation to the Southern Industries Incentive Trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Nick achieved all of this while participating in and graduating from the inaugural class of our Leadership Education and Achievement Program (LEAP).
But that’s not all…
We are also thrilled to share that, due to Mike Tutsie’s successful development of the Chattanooga office, Nik Brown will step into the role of Sales Manager for the Chattanooga office, effective April 1, 2025. Nik has been proactive in seeking out every training and mentorship opportunity during his time as a Sales Representative. His close collaboration with Mike Tutsie has contributed significantly to the success of the Chattanooga office, and we are confident he will continue to drive its growth in his new role as Sales Manager.

Scott Campbell joined our company with expertise in high standards of quality and efficiency in processes. Scott has agreed to utilize his strengths to fill the Production Manager position available following Jeff Howe's retirement. We are confident that Scott's expertise and dedication will have a positive impact on the team and help us continue to deliver Red Carpet Experiences to our customers.
